Tlacotalpan State Museum

The Tlacotalpan Museum would serve to conserve, display and spread the history, traditions and characteristics of the city and the region. It is conceived as a living and dynamic museum, strengthening citizen participation in cultural aspects of the city, and a space for the collective memory—modern, emotional, spectacular—allowing Tlacotalpan people to recognize themselves as the main characters of their history and culture. Louvre Museum

As part of the ambitious renovation project, “Grand Louvre”, proposed by the French government in the 1980s, we planned the transformation of the main court and the pavilions around it. The proposal included a monumental fountain in the middle of the court, surrounded by large gardens and outdoor corridors allowing easy communication between the building wings.
