About the project

As part of the ambitious renovation project, “Grand Louvre”, proposed by the French government in the 1980s, we planned the transformation of the main court and the pavilions around it. The proposal included a monumental fountain in the middle of the court, surrounded by large gardens and outdoor corridors allowing easy communication between the building wings.

The proposal was awarded with Second Place in the International Contest “Grand Louvre”, second only to the glass pyramids.
